World Record for Data Transfer Speed at 25.6TB/S

Alcatel/Lucent had made an impressive new record of data transfer speed at 25.6TB per second through one fiber strand. Which also can be compared as 600 DVDs per second. Can you imagine that??? Last September, the speed record of the fastest data transfer is 14TB per second and in 2002 it was ten times slower than this which means 2.56TB per second. Can you imagine how fast is the technology moving. It is taking around 4 or 5 years to be 10 times faster or better.
