Gmail Attachment Cap Increased to 20MB
23 May 2007

Gmail have upgraded their Attachment cap to 20MB from what used to be 10MB. Normally people can send several mails in which each mail can compose of 10MB, but now you can send the 20MB file in one mail. Although Google has already cut the problem about sharing video by having YouTube for people to upload videos clip for fee. But just to compete with Windows Live Hotmail which recently upgraded their storage to 2GB. So people who need more attachment might want to switch to GMAIL from Hotmail. And just some comments saying that Google should add the progress bar while uploading the file because the size of files uploading are getting huge.
