Google Image Labeler, a new feature from Google that allows you to label random images to improve the Google Image Search results. Google has made it into a game format and it is pretty addictive. How does it work read more?

You’ll randomly be paired with a person who’s online and is using this feature. You’ll be given two minutes, you and your partner will be shown the same image at the same time and both of you will have to add as much label as possible to make it match each other’s. If both of you don’t think you guys can match your labels then you can also press pass and the other guy also has to pass to skip to next image. After the time expires, there will be the results shown and if you have hit the ranking of the day or of all time. There are not just 1-5, but from 1-100 something, so your name will be their as well as your partner’s name. And also after the game is finish, your partner’s label will also be shown.

Why is Google using Image Labeler?

The simple reason is help Google be more relevance on their image search results so we can getter a better image search. So this is all up to us to help Google or not… It’s ENJOYING & ADDICTIVE!!
