WalMart selling under $300 PC with Vista

WalMart has started selling the Everex IMPACT GC3502 PC at $298. The Everex IMPACT GC3502 comes with Windows Vista Basic Edition and an OpenOffice.org 2.2 installed onto the system. The hardware specification of the Everex PC are 1.5GHz via C7 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 SD-RAM, 80GB Harddrive, DVD Burner, integrated graphics and as well as a keyboard, mouse and speakers.
The Everex has came out to compete with the low cost Dell Dimension E521 which was being sold by the retail giant at $498.
