For all the MAC users waiting for Office 2008 for MAC, you will have to continue waiting until 2008. Microsoft has got together a team to check the Office that was designed for MAC and they were not satisfied with it, so there’s going to be a bit of improvement. The new fresh looks of Word, Excel and Powerpoint will need a bit of wait, but just hope that the wait will be worth it.

Microsoft will not release a beta version for public as it did with it’s Office 2007 for Windows users. The Office for MAC 2008 will incldue Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Entourage email application. The launch of Office for MAC 2008 will be at the MACWORLD expo in San Francisco.

“It really is just a quality issue across the board,” said Craig Eisler, the General Manager of Microsoft’s MAC business unit.
