Skype’s Service is Down for the Day
17 August 2007
Skype has got its bad days, and today is going to be part of it. For the whole day Skype has been down and for those people who are trying to connect with skype, don’t think your internet is having a problem, because Skype’s Service is down. They claim that it was a software problem and their engineer will fix it within 12 to 24 hours. This must be bad for people who uses a lot of Skype’s function, because it maybe act as a phone for them and you know how it feels like when the Phone service provider goes down. It might be a good chance for you guys to try out the new VOIP provider which I recommend, “VOIP DISCOUNT“. Below is the message from “Skype” regarding the problem.
Is anyone really suffering with Skype not working? Please give us your comment on how much you are suffering.
Hello everyone,
Apologies for the delay, but we can now update you on the Skype sign-on issue. As we continue to work hard at resolving the problem, we wanted to dispel some of the concerns that you may have. The Skype system has not crashed or been victim of a cyber attack. We love our customers too much to let that happen. This problem occurred because of a deficiency in an algorithm within Skype networking software. This controls the interaction between the user’s own Skype client and the rest of the Skype network.
Rest assured that everyone at Skype is working around the clock — from Tallinn to Luxembourg to San Jose — to resume normal service as quickly as possible.
