SanDisk XpressCard 16GB for Camcorders

SanDisk Corporation has launched another XpressCard into its high-performance flash memory products, based on Express Cards. The SanDisk XpressCard will be one of the best solutions for professional Camcorders as it provides high speed digital capture. SanDisk XpressCards is designed for new generation camcorders which will be using Solid-State Disk(SSD) rather than Harddisk or Optical disks. Express cards provides the speed, durability and reliability demanded by professional camcorders. SanDisk will be launching two sizes of XpressCards which includes the 8GB and 16GB. The 8GB will be able to record 30 minutes of 35Mb/s video quality while the 16GB will be able to record upto 60GB at the same quality.

These XpressCards will be available in November while 8GB will come at US$499.99 and the 16GB will be at US$899.99.
