Microsoft new Zune 80, 4 and 8GB
3 October 2007

Seems like Microsoft and Apple will never stop competing. Here comes a new media player to compete with the iPod Nano which is called the Zune 8 and Zune 4. They also added 80GB size to their Hard drive Zune. The Zune 80 comes in only black color while the new Zune 8 and Zune 4 will come in red, green, pink and black. The Flash Zunes will be available at two sizes, 4GB and 8GB. And from now on the Classic Zune will be known as Zune 30 which will make us indentify its sizes by the number.
The Dimensions of Zune 80 are 61.1 x 108.2 x 12.9mm (2.4 x 4.25 x 0.5-inches), some 1/3rd smaller than the classic Zune. Zune 80 comes with a 3.2 inch screen and uses the new Zune Pad (up, down, left, right buttons).
The Dimensions of Zune 4 and 8 are 41.4 x 91.5 x 8.5mm (1.6 x 3.6 x 0.33-inches), comparing to the new iPod nano, at 69.8 x 52.3 x 6.5mm (2.75 x 2.0 x 0.26-inches). Zune 4 and 8 comes with 1.8-inch screen and uses the new Zune Pad.
These new Zune won’t ship until November. The Zune 80 will be selling for $250, while the Zune 4 and 8 will be selling for $150 and $200 respectively. If you are still going to stick with white then I suggest you get iPods.
