Orange to sell Unlocked iPhones in France
17 October 2007

Orange has officially announce that the Apple iPhone for France will be released November 29. The iPhone that is locked to Orange will be for sale at 399 euros. Apple will have to sell the unlock iPhone because French Law forbids locked mobile. But the pricing of the unlocked is still not available.
Are you wondering how Apple is going to cope with their software to protect from Non-French users? Apple has been tackling the problem of hacking in US by releasing the new firmware and still that got hacked. But now Apple is going to tackle with another problem of selling unlocked iPhone in France due to its law. The November 29 is not a long time from today so we are going to be getting lots of updates about Apple officially launching an unlocked iPhone. It will be launched alongside the other European countries such as the O2 in UK and T-Mobile in Germany.
Is Apple going to attack the problem through high pricing or protective softwares?
