11 December 2007

Toshiba has extended their SSD storage to 128GB from what used to be 64GB. SanDisk and Toshiba has been competing in the Solid State Disk market and Toshiba has a surprising update which is due on the CES 2008. The Consumer Electronic Show, which is organized during the month of December yearly at Las Vegas, has lots of new gadgets and electronic products release such as the iPhone which was announced last year by Apple. Toshiba will be offering their SSD with the storage ranging from 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The maximum read speed is 100MB/S while the write speed is 40MB/S.
Seems like there is going to be a more laptop using SSD as it uses lessĀ battery and is more portable.
