Apple has introduces the new MacBook Air in the MacWorld 2008. In MacWorld 2008, Steve Jobs claims MacBook Air as the World’s Thinnest Notebook with the thickness of 0.76 inches and weighs 1.36 kg. The 13.3″ MacBook Air has lots of new features that you have never seen in any of the MacBooks before. One of the most interesting updates in the MacBook Air is that the trackpad has the touch features similar to the iPod Touch and iPhone.

MacBook Air comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6GHz, 2GB of Memory and 80GB Hard Drive. Other special features are the built-in iSight Camera, 802.11n Wireless,  micro-DVI port for Display extension and a high speed USB port. The keys on the keyboard glows in the dark as it is named Air which also means when you are in the Airplane. The special part about the trackpad is that it can zoom like the iPhone, it can rotate photos and flip photos using your fingers. MacBook Air has a 5 hour Battery life. But if you are a fan of optical discs then you might have to buy MacBook Air SuperDrive accessories. Several other good accessories that you might find interesting is the Micro-DVI Video Adapter and the USB Ethernet Adapter.

If you watch the Apple’s Guided Video of the MacBook Air, you would be thinking about the iPhone, just that it is a more expensive an a product which might not sell as well as the iPhone.

MacBook Air Starts at $1799. More photos are after the break.
